Classes & Academics

Classes & Academics

At WonderKids Academy, our learning journey is designed to support children as they grow—from their first experiences in school to the greater independence and subject depth of secondary classes. We encourage curiosity, clear understanding, regular practice and confidence at every stage.

Early Years: Nursery, JrKG and SrKG

Children begin building language, early numeracy, communication, creativity, social skills and positive learning habits through age-appropriate activities and guided practice.

Primary School: Grades 1–4

Students strengthen their foundations in reading, writing, mathematics and other core learning areas. Classroom activities encourage participation, confidence, curiosity and the ability to explain their thinking.

Middle School: Grades 5–8

Students develop deeper subject knowledge, independent study habits, reasoning and problem-solving. They are encouraged to ask questions, connect ideas and take greater responsibility for their learning.

Secondary Classes: Grades 9–10

For information about Grade 9 and Grade 10 availability, curriculum and admission arrangements, please contact the school directly.

Beyond textbooks

We value creativity, teamwork, good habits, respectful behaviour and learning through school activities and projects. Strong academic foundations are built through regular practice, clear explanations, asking questions and connecting lessons to everyday life. We encourage children to read, reason, solve problems, express their ideas and develop confidence in their own learning. As students progress through the grades, they are supported in strengthening subject knowledge, independent study habits, communication and responsibility. Families can contact the school for the current class-wise syllabus, assessment pattern and subject details. Our aim is to help children grow academically while developing confidence and responsibility.

How we support learning

Children learn in different ways, so a supportive classroom makes room for explanation, practice, questions and participation. We encourage students to understand concepts rather than simply memorise answers, and to build confidence by trying, learning from mistakes and improving with guidance.

Practice, assessment and progress

Regular revision, classwork, homework and assessments can help teachers and families understand what a child has learned and where extra practice may be useful. Parents are encouraged to stay in touch with the school about their child’s progress, learning habits and areas for improvement. Please contact the school for details of the current assessment schedule and reporting process.

Learning beyond the classroom

Creative projects, collaborative tasks and age-appropriate school activities can help children practise communication, teamwork, curiosity and responsibility alongside academic learning. The school can share details of activities planned for the current academic year.
