School Life & Articles
School life is full of opportunities to discover, create, collaborate and grow. At WonderKids Academy, learning is not limited to lessons and textbooks: everyday conversations, creative work, shared tasks and school celebrations can all help children build confidence and a sense of belonging. We want every child to practise kindness, respect others, take responsibility and feel encouraged to participate. This page is where families can explore school activities and read practical ideas that support children’s learning at home and at school.

Activities, creativity and celebrations
School activities and celebrations can give children opportunities to share their talents, work with classmates and appreciate one another’s contributions. Creative projects, presentations, exhibitions and cultural occasions can also connect classroom learning with children’s interests and experiences. We will share updates and photographs here as school activities take place.
Growing good habits and life skills
Along with academic learning, children benefit from practising punctuality, organisation, cooperation, respect and care for their surroundings. Families and school can work together by encouraging children to take age-appropriate responsibility, listen to others, express themselves politely and keep trying when a task feels challenging.
Ideas for families
Build a daily reading habit
Set aside a short, regular time for reading. Let children choose age-appropriate books, ask them what they noticed, and enjoy the story together without turning every reading session into a test.
Make mathematics part of everyday life
Invite children to count, compare, estimate and solve small problems while cooking, shopping or organising objects. Everyday practice can help make mathematical ideas more meaningful.
Encourage confidence and independence
Give children age-appropriate responsibilities, listen patiently to their ideas and praise effort as well as results. Small opportunities to make choices and solve problems help build confidence.
